WHY GET INVOLVED?
To Use My Gifts...
Peter 4:10 - Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
God wants us to use the unique gifts he has given to us individually.
To Follow His Example...
Matthew 20:28 - ... Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...
Jesus didn't arrive on the scene and order everyone to serve while He sat and watched. He serves as an example of a servant by washing the feet
of the disciples, putting His needs last when there were those who needed a healing touch and ultimately, died for us as the greatest sacrifice a
servant could give.
In Ephesians 4:16, the Bible tells us we grow in our love for God and for others as we serve. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Serving acts as a type of spiritual growth 'hormone' - deepening our love for God and for each other.

Serving In Our Community:
The Helpline Center is excited to announce that Volunteer Sioux Falls is on the grow!
Volunteer Sioux Falls has grown from a single day of service to three community-wide service events annually. The Helpline Center leads these events, encouraging individuals, families, churches, civic groups and companies to get involved in a community-wide project each February, April and August. What will we do? The sky is the limit! Together, we may build playgrounds, refurbish schools, build community gardens and much, much more!
